Materion GmbH is an innovative company in the field of sensor and coating technology based in the Hanseatic City of Wismar. Our range of tasks and activities includes the manufacture of thin-film-based optical hydrogen sensors and the finishing of surfaces with functional coating systems. In addition, together with our partners, we carry out materials science investigations to characterise innovative materials.

Our goal is to provide the process engineering industry with a high level of safety in process control by means of our optical hydrogen sensors. Through our ongoing research activities, we are expanding and optimising our product range and developing novel coating systems for special fields of application.
